Justin Boddy is serving his first term as President of the Alaska State Firefighters Association. A third generation Alaskan firefighter, Justin was born and raised in Juneau and began as a firefighter cadet with the Auke Bay District of Capital City Fire/Rescue and later became a volunteer firefighter.
Justin moved to Fairbanks to attend the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and earned a degree in Municipal Fire Control while working for the University Fire Department. He also had the pleasure of serving with the Steese Volunteer Fire Department and North Star Volunteer Fire Department.
Currently a Captain at the Fort Wainwright Fire Department, Justin resides in North Pole with his wife and four children.
