The Alaska State Firefighter's Association is comprised of Firefighter's from across the State of Alaska. Each Firefighter is a member of a local chapter. Chapters generally encompass an entire Fire Department. The annual fees for each chapter are based on the population served by that chapter. As an example, if your Fire Department serves a population of 1500, the annual dues would be $250 and would include a membership for each member of your Fire Department.

Dues for chapters are set as follows based on population served:
0-501 $50
501 – 1,000 $100
1,001 – 2,500 $250
2,501 – 5,000 $500
5,001 – 7,500 $750
7,501 – 10,000 $1,000
10,001 – 30,000 $1,250
> 30,000 $1500
Dues for special groups shall be set as follows:
Military: $10 per person with a cap at $250 (need 6 people to make a chapter)
Industry: $20 per person with no cap (need 6 people to make a chapter)
Members at Large $20
